because konig wheels suck. i'm not the type to buy cheap **** for my car. konig wheels are cool i guess if you are not in any type of competition racing. about 90% of konig wheels weight over 26 lbs anything 17" or bigger. most of their wheels are a knock off of an actual legit wheel company design. those are just some reasons.

hey, i've been thinking about getting those too! if you're going to get them in 18's, will you let me know what you do to keep them from rubbing up against the suspension?

You should buy these rims...

Only $400 shipped to your door, like new condition, and only 2,000 miles on them....

later

I don't know if it helps, but here are the first ones on my car.

Needs lowered, I know... that's where my tax return $$ is going...

And I've had 'em on since the beginning of July, and I haven't bent any of them.

If you buy them from Discount Tire, you can get them replaced for free if you bend them (even if you curb your car and they get bent, they'll replace them). I think it was like $50 more or something. Not too bad of a price really for that kind of protection.

Those are Konig Troubles, actually. Unknowns have 10 spokes.

If I were you, I would go for the black ones, especially on a yellow balt. I'd say black goes better with yellow than chrome does. But whatever is going to make you the happiest!

Konigs= played out. 5-stars= played out. 5-star Konigs on a Cobalt= played out x 2. Dare to be different my friend. I went out on a limb with some gunmetal Enkei WDMs for my white 2.4SS. Will it look good? Who knows, but at least I won't look like every other modded Cobalt SS. (sorry if that sounded rude, just stating my opinion) But if you must get 5-star Konigs, then get the Konig Troubles (the top ones). The Unknowns are hideous and the Incidents look cheap.

For the post above.........I came super close to getting Motegi DV5s in gunmetal, but I since my winter wheels are my stock 2.4SS wheels, I wanted something besides a 5-spoke for the rest of the year. DV5s do look nice though

Hey, around here, I've seen absolutely zero Cobalts with 5 spoke Konigs (not that many on the site, either, really--Unknowns are not 5 spokes). I have seen about a million cars with Enkei or Motegi rims around here, though, which is why I didn't go with one of those brands. Plus, it seems like where I live, the only rims that people get are the huge dinner-plate chrome rims that must add at least an additional 10-20 lbs to their car.

My car is very much different from everyone else's in my area.

And just because you see a lot of a certain rim doesn't make it bad. I don't know how many SS rims I've seen on the SS's around here, and I still think they look good!

You need to check out Konig web site. Look at the new Hot Swaps. Now those are hot.

I live in flint, and its pretty ghetto here so i see alot of chrome rims and **** too. But the moetogi, I jsut like the DV5's i dont kno why, but theres some others i was lookin at that look real nice. But i personally dont like the konigs all that much. but thats jsut my opinoin.
