RIMS or TINT?

well, as the title says im choosing between rims or tint. im doing this anytime soon, christmas killed me on the money, but im thinking ahead. after my next several paychecks i should have enough for tint, and i wait even longer til maybe march or april i might have enough for a nice set of rims. im just thinking ahead though. what should i get? tint...or skip tint and keep saving for rims? and im just curious, what is a good price on tint for our cars and how dark would you go?

Tint. Stock rims are fine as is. Unless you've got the funky "wannabe" 5-spoke hubcaps.

tint is pretty cheap... and is really nice... I'd go for that.

unless you are riding on the base model steelies w/hubcaps.

nothing tackier than a "tuner" car with hubcaps.

Has anyone tried taking off the "caps" and painting the metal part? It might look alright painted a gunmetal color.

Should have added a poll, but I see that it's pretty much unanimous.

Tint first. It's not that expensive, you should be able to find a lot of places to do it for under $200.
