hmmm anyone ever think of riping the gauge cluster out of ur dash?? and replaceing all the blubs with leds?? saw it done on a srt-4 looks hella sick........ also, is there any intrest in gauge ovelays?? in like white? or something, thats one thing that pisses me off with the ss, they got jiped with plane looking gauges (well sorta) where as the ls sport get the awesome ones! (are the ls sport ones plug and play with the ss dash???)

 

You mean as in your rev's for example wouldn't use a needle, but be a green-to-yellow-to-red led's? That would be alright. I like analog gauges myself though.

 

no no, just light up a diff color, like a bright blue, or a bright red, or whatever lol

 

There a thread in here about aftermarket gauge faces already available for the Cobalt. do a search, you should find it. They were pretty cool looking I remember.

I think the gauges in the SS look better then the white-faced ones. They're very similar to the ones in the Corvette.

 

You must be crazy to say that the SS got the raw deal and the sport coupe with the white gauges is better. There is a reason why the ss doesnt have the white and its ebcuase white gauges are something that is associated with CHEAP cars like civics and such that dont look good stock so you have to buy all these stupid parts and pieces to make it look better. The gauges that come with the SS are slick lookin and they are much more expensive looking than some piece of junk white ones. other than that I dont really car do whatever color you want the LED's sound like a good idea though. Usually the stock bulb suck.
