Does someone have the old spy photos? I have changed computers twice since then and they are gone into "delete oblivion".

Thanks,

RC

Correct me if I'm wrong, but after skimming through that I saw no spy pictures of the hood. Just the body kit, which also looks interesting. Just keep us posted Jim! And thanks for the link halfcent (I would have never known)...

There are no spy picts yet of the hood. That was for the front end.

It is being produced. Here is a link to the G5 and the complete front end for that.

Racecrafter,

saw the G5 pics, please make a SS rear similar to that, also lots of guys are figuring the hood will fit, but the nose when a SS nose is made there needs to be mounting provisions for the fog lamps!

Also these are urethane correct?
nice job, that is a nice looking G5!

I would like to know how much that G5 hood is going to be also. I am more interested in that one than the extracter. the extractor looks to scionish. the new G5 hood looks fast just siting there.

Hood will use factory hardware and hood prop rod.

Hood is also functional.

Pictures aren't available because the hood is still not created yet. I believe they're working on it as we speak. There was talk about a drawing so that we could get an idea, but I don't think anything ever happened there. I know, from my j-body.org days, that RK makes great quality hoods. Everyone always talked about their fitment, and the ability to retain all stock hardware. On the cavaliers, their hoods actually had better fitment than stock. So, that's why I called up and gave him my CC #, I have faith!

Only a few orders on each of the Extractor hoods.......

And don't forget that it will fit the G5 as well!!!

You have Fiberglass or Carbon Fiber to chose from.

Don't let this project become one on our back burner. I, as much as you, would like to see this become a reality very quickly.

I doubt this will ever come about, but once I get my Cobalt and if I ever have money left over, I'm getting a carbon hood and trunk. The hood I get will be this one.

Go to their site and put together an order with their current ram air hood to find out the current shipping price. Nothing should change drastically from now until they're available. Remember, this is a hood, shipping won't be cheap...

Currently, from them to me in NY it is:

ABF Truck Freight $168.46

With the exception of Canada, I don't see anyone having shipping costs much higher than $175.

So that's $645 + prep and paint for an amazing hood...if you get the fiberglass.

That's somewhere around $800 for a high quality carbon fiber hood ready to be installed. Not too shabby you guys! That's less than the normal price will be before shipping...
