I think that hood looks damn good!!! I miss my Carbon Fiber F1 hood off my 98 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP.

RK said they were going to make an extractor but then dropped off the face of the earth about it. I was pretty pissed, but then I just put the money towards the cams and dyno tune. I'd still prob buy one if they came out with one...

There is a guy here in northern Indiana who has a company called Motorsports Performance Design in a town called Valparaiso that makes custom hoods and he does excellent work. So, if you guys want to get some made. I been up to his place he checked out my F1 hood on my GTP because I guess another company mocked my hood off his and he wanted to see how it fit. He also did my buddies Buick Regal GS and my other friends Impala. Which are the cars on the site. http://www.mpd-inc.net/index.html

Only difference with the final product will be a 1/2 inch white stripe running along where the 2 colors meet, down the side of the car.

I will take one when I get home. The way the ram air is set up is more for a 2.2 or 2.4 because it drops air right where thier air filter would be. It's cool with me. It will still cool down the engine compartment nicely. :twothumbs

ME TOO, ME TOO. I have the MPD F.1 hood and spoiler. Absolutely love them on my GTP. I will have to give them a call too. He is probably the best fiberglass fabricator I have seen. Good, honest people.

For the record: The PFYC hood that Denny has/had on his GP was the knock-off to the MPD F.1 hood. Now I have bought a lot of parts from PFYC over the years, and know Mike Lewis pretty well (through the GP community), but they blatently copied that hood from MPD. It is unfortunate, but PFYC does offer it in a carbon fiber version that MPD doesn't. I guess that it makes the PFYC hood slightly different enough to not infringe on piracy?

The tops of the two of them have to be trimed about 1/2 inch for the hood to close all the way.
