Ok so im considering buying the RK sport ram air hood for my cobalt and i want to make it functional so im going to a garage today. But what im really wondering is if anyone thinks theres a difference between these 2 hoods besides the brand. The first link is something made from "Monster Club". Never heard of them. The second link is the RK Sport hood. If anyone has them or knows more information please tell me the difference. Oh and if anyone knows of a intake setup to make it functional that input as well would help! Thank you for any useful information.

If your N/A then any aftermarket or even the GM intake will line up with the filter. LNF's have the same filter spot as the na's too. Just don't work if your SC'd.

 

Mine is an SS/SC but I took to a garage i know and they said they could make a custom intake that will line up with it. Now I just dont know which of the two hoods I should buy...I'm not sure if there identical or not, any input?

 

Id go for the ebay, the price difference is enough that it could be painted "for free"

It will fit any cobalt model. And *monsterclub* I just want to know if its the same as the rksport

 

Probably a dumb question but on the ebay one they say "Please notice this is an unpainted auto part, original material color is white." Now they dont mean its summit white like the white cobalts do they? becuz if they do then i wouldnt need to paint at all

 

^ no, its a White gelcoat. its almost a semi-gloss finish. it will need to be sanded, most likely straightened, and painted
