Aw, well in that case excuse my post. To answer that, i believe no one has ever had problems with the hood. Never seen a bad post against it.

I have the hood in carbon fiber. I love it but with a few gripes. It needs hoodpins on it or else it is always kinda open looking even though its not. Also, the latch on it is slightly rusting and the hood scoop traps water from when it rains in it so when i open the hood i have water droplets come out of it sometimes. other than that i love it and the engine bay is perfectly dry with it.

most manufacuters will tell you to buy hood pins to make sure your hood is secure, vendors dont really say you need them because some styles are stonger then others but it is a real good idea to pick up a set with any C/F or F/G hood

the hood is stable, no shaking at all but just sticks up a slight bit. I dont have hood pins yet but i will evtually get them. The fit underneath was great as far as the hinges and hood strut.

I have an RKSPort hood but it's for the G5, same thing.

The hood is nice. It fit right off the bat. It does retain some water.
When you open the hood you want a napkin to catch a little water that falls where the latch is. Only if it rained or you washed your car in the last 2 days.

I paid $250 back when it first came out. It was a promotion. You can find those same promotions from time to time on ebay. RKSport has a store on Ebay.

Here are a couple quick pics for you.

Yeah it's functional but only for the 2.2/2.4l guys. Any short ram intake matches up perfectly with the opening under the hood.
