Rolled Fenders

Who's has rolled there fenders on their cobalt? Can someone show me some pictures. I'm looking to get some es2's and I have been talking to Tim at Varrstoen and he said people make 225's fit with coils only if the fenders are rolled.. I don't think I'm about that lol

a rolled fender is a rolled fender, looks the same unless you jam your head in the wheel well.

just make sure to use a heat gun while rolling or you will crank the hell out of your paint. not much to roll on cobalt tho, its pretty mich already folded up aside from the front of the rear fender.

10 days of 1" spacers in the rear rolled my fenders......(needless to say they were removed) but literally i wouldnt need a roller in the back now.

exactly. you just extend it at 10 and 2 oclock. more than that, its very expensive to do the rear due to the diagonal cut for the rear bumper. stretching metal is labor intensive and required repaint.

here is a stock offset wheel on a stretched and rolled Cobalt.:

and here is the same car with 19 x 9 wheels and tires

at one time, a long time ago, in a distance galaxy called california, i was on 18x9.5 +25 235/40 in the rear (with coils with no perch or bumpstop in the rear) and i was fine. you can roll your fenders with a bat or get a roller, just heat up the quarters as much as you can and don't roll too hard or you will buckle the whole quarter panel.

Please look again. first example stock offset 17 x 7.5 inch wheels. second example same car with 19 x 9 wheels. SMH

But then again, its a compliment. The mandate was for the body shop to make it 100% stock appearing.

excellent work.

2,500 dollars.

18 x 9.5 on 245/40/18. no need to roll fenders. Its plastic. Redline for the win.
