BTW i painted my interior this past weekend, and it looks like the XM antenna is held on with one 10MM bolt. easy to get at if you drop the headliner. IMO i would go this route if i were to wrap a roof. then poke a hole for the bolt, then you know you have complete coverage.
Yes i took the rails off and ran the wrap inderneather where they sit so it sits there secure

They're just clipped in correct? no bolts

they slide into a rubber piece that is held onto the roof by 3m double sided stick tape.

i also did this with mine but i took the sunroof out and pulled off the antenna (drop the headliner and it unbolts with one bolt.)

lol not gonna happen...i talked to my bodyshop about doing it and its almost $500 to get it done and they need my car for like a week

i think mike (09sscali) has a gloss black. i know he painted it black but i can't remember if its gloss or not. pic on first page but too lazy to go look. lol

Right on, that's the way that looks best in my opinion. Mike has his done on his white balt too. If I could get it done for not too much money I'd consider it I suppose. Always looks good on M3s haha.

In the spring im going to attempt to matte white dip my car and do the hood/roof in matte black then gloss them.

ive been looking up the Plasti Dip and i decided to do that, its alott cheaper, in the end it will cost me $20, the vynal would cost 275 wtf lol

well my friend told me all i need for my roof is one can, so it would be safe to say 3 cans, but remember plasti dip is flatt, but if you want it gossy you have to get the glossifier too go to dipyourcar.com black fridays deals too!

if somebody is charging you 275 for your roof hes high lol i got mine and part of my hood for around $200

5x5' sheets are like $50 if i remember correctly. That works good for both trunk and hood.
