Anybody tried one of these? http://www.modernperformance.com/sho...lt-p-1869.html

If you have, how's reception and run into any issues? I've been thinking of grabbing that. It's local too, so no waiting/shipping costs.

Yeah i am pretty sure the antenna threads are the same, because when i got my shorty antenna the addapters were: Ford, Honda, GM, etc so i believe GM will all be the same (for the same year that is)

I have it and love it! It's cheap and it fits! Reception is the same as my stock antenna, so you won't lose any reception clarity. :thumbsup

Thank God I found this thread. ARK is out.. C-A.com is out. So I think I'll get either the modern performance antenna or Saturn Sky one. Good thread

I just realized though, a question I had. It wouldn't hurt if I bought the M.P. antenna to put a bit of thread locker glue in there would it? The last shorty antenna I bought, for my old car was stolen! Some thieves came by my house and stole it.. $40 down the drain.

I found a website that has a bunch of shorty antennas in all shapes and sizes for a Saturn Sky/Solstice........just wondering if they have the same mm/thread pattern as our Cobalts. Thanks!

anyone??
Yeah, my Ark antenna doesn't have the greatest signal strength either. Thank god for XM

No, the antenna studs aren't the same size. I made a short antenna for my dad's Sky and tried to make another for my '07 Cobalt, but I couldn't get any to fit my car. The Sky has the same smaller stud size as the 05-06 Cobalts.
