Scoops for the rear side windows

C'mon somebody! This has to be an easy design for a company in the body kit scene. We need louvered side scoops for the back side windows like on the mustangs! Either a louver scoop or shelby sytle scoop would really look hott on a cobalt. There is currently a scoop looking decal offered, but a poly or eurothene scoop with double sided tape woule be a lot better.I can't belive someone hasn't made one yet!

I dont like the Cobaly addiction ones.... I do actually have that decal... the new supporting vendor on here makes them... It looks good and I get compliments all the time, including a guy who pulled up next to me in an 87 corvette with 250k miles on it.

I do agree that I would love to see a real set made. especially one we could color match.

We all cannot afford SS cars, but can scrape for an add on or two once in a while. It is a shame some financially well off SS guys look down at us base model owners.

don't let the haters get to you. believe me, if people were financially well off, they wouldn't be driving a cobalt. unless it was their daily driver.

Theres got to be a vendor out there that could pull this off. There is some interest. I've seen it before (the interest that is), and heard it from the haters when I put my fakies on ("real louvers FTW, decals FTL")

I personally love the look of mine and they definitely darken the interior since they completely black out all light

I'm a 2.2L and I think its a bad idea. The SS/SC owners aren't looking down on you, it actually has nothing to do with it, they're just telling you not to put that stuff on your car. I thought it looked cool, but then, I looked at it, and saw its potential for getting ricer comments. I don't see them with any form, functionality, nor do I see them looking all that great. I love the cobalt's quarter windows, I think they look awesome with no vents on them!

Honestly, this pity crap has to stop. No one once said anything about you owning a base model. The scoop idea is a non-functional aesthetic that most people think looks bad. Don't get your panties in a bunch every time someone thinks something you want to do is "rice" or "gay." I don't think they look good, but I wasn't going to post my opinion because I don't feel it's necessary to put someone else's idea down. However, this whiney crap about how you can't afford an SS, so everybody is against you, is just bullshit. Be a man and cowboy the **** up...

95% of the people on this site told me what I got looks ricey... lol. But people stop me on the street and tell me it looks amazing. I like it, if people wanna call it rice, than call it rice.

Some people consider neons rice, some dont. Some will tell you painting your interior to match is rice. Hell i had someone tell me that lowering my car was rice.

If your willing to spend money on the car every so often just save up every so often and buy something functional like an intake. Maybe install some led's for the rear lights and tint them. You can get projector head lights or an exhaust.

this is still a lose lose for the 2.2 guys, I hear all the time why am I putting performance upgrades in my 2.2 LT. Some guys want form over function. I went form first, now I am adding function and performance. Not everyone wants a faster car, some guys just wanna look good. There is no function in vertical doors but after I install my exhaust, vertical doors are next for my Balt.

IMO scoops are just something that 2.2 owners put on their cars cause they have SS envy.

Of course, because us SS guys are so much more financially well-off.

agreed but there are so many ways to keep the car from being cheap while adding to it. Painted dash on a few cars here have been amazing.

I'd be satisfied with some aluminum rear window louvers.

I miss the Visus brand ones I had on my 04' Mustang.
