scratches while debagde

scratches while debagde

i debagded my ss/sc. and i use goo gone and gas to get off the glue. the rag i had must of not been as soft as i thought it was and now i got like scratches (like if you use a green pad on plexy glass). any one know how to get rid of it? i took a pic but the sun refected to much.

i wouldnt have used gas to debadge.......but try some wax and a buffer

black. usually get the car wash to do it but i need to start washing and waxing it myself

haha nice.. i wish i had somewhere i can wash my car lol.. my apartment complex doesn't have hose bibs and at work the water is hard and leaves water spots every where.

Use mothers wax but i would run down to my dealer first and see if they will do it for you. Worth a try, they always do it for me!!!

I usualy go in for soemthing else (to the dealer) and ask them if they could take care of that for me, and they usualy do for free. Cause when i debadged mine, I had an outline of the bowtie emblem engraved lightly in the paint, and now that **** is GONE!

try Meguiars ScratchX....i did that on my black one when i debadged it and it filled all the little nicks and scratches from debadging it...completely gone....feel free to try mothers wax or somethin...no wax worked for me till i bought the scratchX but its not really cheap...bout 10 bucks..depndin where u live

^^That stuff is not totally safe for paint.. its used on plastics mostly...
