I would say add a non functional on the other side to match but i dont thing that will help the look.. I'd say reposition it..and get a dyno done

man i would like to dyno it but the only place nearby says 2.2 can't be dyno'd. they cant find the tach wire. even though all of the other 2.2 guys here have dynos.

Don't bondo it unless you really feel like fixing paint cracks for the rest of your days.

Ever wonder why factory hood scoops that are not molded into the hood always seem to come up from under the hood? (think 2000 ish mustangs with a shaker hood) Its because they put a hole in the hood and fasten the scoop to the air box and put a seal around the lip of the scoop it just looks and functions better that way.

i actually think its a great idea, especially for the gains. 10hp!!? holy smokes. i agree though, if it looked more like a shaker, or was better integrated, like blended with the hood it'd look even better.

Any better shots of this? I give you props for doing it and making it functional. I think you coulda found a better scoop tho, just imo.


And yea, at least he did something different and functional. Makes it way cooler than body kit or neons on a cobalt.....
