Just a different version of this mod ---> https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/appe...delete-313629/

Thats a dope look. personally i prefer a darker color over chrome, but the idea is sick and i'm not taking anything away from it.

Its actually black, but its almost a mirror finish, so if something light is being reflected it makes it look really light.

I gotta bust out my DSLR and snap some decent shots, and stop using my shitty phone, lol.

But thanks!

I like it, I would personally cut the shifter in half, but that would probably make it really weird to shift.

Thanks!

I lowered the knob and tried a new wrap on the stick

But I think I like V1 myself.... I might wrap the new one in carbon and see what it looks like.

Mine's an SS too with RL.

But the RL mechanism is molded plastic that runs down the shaft with grooves to keep the knob from moving around when you slide it up and down for the RL to work.

I ended up cutting off all the plastic to expose the bare metal shaft.

But there are 6 protruding bumps on the shaft used to hold the molded plastic RL assembly.

I didnt want to start grinding them down and risk affecting the strength of the shaft, so I covered it.

Eventually I'm going to get a Short Shift kit, remove the RL mechanism, and have a nice polished steel shaft.
