shift light

Is there a way to change when the stock shift light comes on or just cancel it all together? mine comes on at weird intervals and is annoying to look at when just daily driving.

I never knew I had one until I accidentally pegged the rev limiter at 7500 after being tuned. LOL

yes it is an LS and that is stupid. I am going to the dealer today to ask a few questions and will ask him if he can change it. assuming it is a computer controlled thing.
