Shifter Help

HOW DO U TAKE THE SHIFT KNOB OFF. IT DOESNT SCREW OFF

plain simple ya cant with out having another shifter with a button

I tried to put a momo one on, couldnt. any way some one will prob be able to modify it to work just, havent found that person

is all the shifters the same in all models of the cobalt?

cause personally, i like the one in the SS

I find that the shifter sleeve likes to slip out of the hole in the center console. Does anybody else have this problem?

... as i drove my car out of the showroom (literally).. i looked down and saw the boot was off.. i just popped her back in and havent had the problem since.

I ended up popping it back in also. It probably was just never fully in the hole and came out. Oh well, hopefully it's solved now. Thanks.

yea.. i dont think it'll be comming off again.. the other day i tried to pop it off for the hell of it and couldnt do it with my fingers.. i think were safe
