i have an 06 ss but i want to get a shorty antenna but ark only carries 07 and up where can i get one to fit mine

 

I believe theres a DIY for a shortened one, check the how to section

 

i would prefer to buy one if possible i have seen the how to but would like it to look good

 

remove antenna from car mark length u want wrap with eletric tape s ocopper wire dont unravel cut and then apply 1/8 vacume cap and reinstall and done

 

i still would prefer a store bought one they look better but may have to do it myself

I dont know who told you they didnt make one for a 2006, but theres the link.

 

I had a shorty ark on my car, took it off, reception sucked.... probably wouldn't be a big deal in a city, but if you don't live in one, probably going to want to stay away from them

if you use XM or Sirius, wouldn't matter then either... I don't listen to the radio except for local sports station anyway(listen to my mp3 player through the radio instead) but when I do, I don't want to hear static

 

i pmed ark and they told me they dont have the 06 anymore

 

I had a shorty on my 06 but honestly I prefer reception to looks. If you want it make me an offer.
