Does anybody have this antenna? I want to know if the reception is the same as the stock one...And if it fits my 09 LT sedan...

i have it. works good i cant compare to the stock one cuz that one broke on me when i was trying to take it off. so after a year i finally decided to get a antenna.

 

Yep I have it. Same reception as the stocker.

 

I have it as well. The only difference I noticed is stations that would barley come in before don't come in at all now. Not a big deal though. If you could get a station clearly before you won't have any problems. It looks 1000x better than the stock fishing pole.

 

Get the ark performance one i have it and love it

 

I live in suburb area and the reception goes down a little if i pass like a big truck or driving next to a hill or something. It only lasts for like 1 second anyway

But there is always signal, stock one is better of course, but the shorty antenna looks way better, that reason justifies getting it

 

I have it also. It works great for me. Like the others said, the reception is a little lower around trucks,buildings and stations that were already bad. Looks great too

i cut my stock one and found something to put on the tip. ive never had problems with it like that. but im a cheap ass

i bought one but the fkr didnt fit. had to send it back.

 

ARK is sold out of them for the 06, I know that.
So I tryed to order it from another site, and they said it was discontinued.

thats crazy that ark is out of them i just ordered mine like last tuesday or wensday i think. I must have got the last black one lol.

I have that antenna. The reception is not as good as a stock antenna, but I live in a suburban area so I don't really notice much. Like Icydub said, if I go next to a big truck or under under a big overpass I will get a little static, but other than that I haven't had any problems.

 

You ordered it from the ARK website?
Becouse the site has said sold out on the ones for the 2006 everytime I have checked it for months.

 

theyre one city over from me in houston so i sent it back already

 

I was on there website and saw it and it said they had them in stock. So i ordered it try giving them a call to sometime websites can be wrong

I have modern performance on my 09, reception is pretty good, but not perfect. i stay in the city and have no problems though.

 

i have that exact antenna on my 09 ls, and ill say it looks badass, its not as good reception as our 10 foot stocker but then again its only like 4 inches tall. its worth it in my opinion
