shorty antenna
anybody know where to get a shorty antenna for my 2006 cobalt ss 2.4 that isnt like 40 bucks i keep reading places that there is all different sizes why GM didnt make the same size for all of them is beyond me.

I got mine at Autozone, looks the same as the stocker but only about 8 inches tall.

GM likes to play little games like, They for sure do it on purpose. You can check on modernperformance.com they have a shorty antenna.

I had the ark one on my tiburon, good stuff, as with most of their products,
also it kept the signal, I don't know if you're looking for that or just a shorter appearance only one

Or you can always cut your stocker and put a cap on it.

yea man, lol. you cutting an ANTENNA. lol. there is going to be less surface area to catch the RF waves emitting from the towers.... works on gain... (sorry im a communications guy.)

Going to a shorter Antenna or cutting your stocker, either way will cause a slight loss in reception. I can barely get any AM stations with my Ark shorty...not that big a deal but sometimes I want to catch the ball game and I can't get it or it sounds super muffled.

I have the one from modern performance, 20 bucks shipped to my door in three days. comes with dielectric silicone. AND A SUPER BADASS BRACELET! lol, nah but i lost a ton of signal i cant even listen to the radio really so maybe try the ark?
