Alright... i am basically done with my body mods. Ive got a Victory Red SS/SC with black accents. Ive got red eyelids, black evo mod, black center bar/upper grills, black reverse evo mod, and blacked out tails/side markers. Now i'm contemplating getting my windows tinted. I did it on my Camaro and i liked it, but i didn't go dark enough. So if i did it, i would go professional again, and i'm either wrapping it in 5% or nothing. Opinions?

Victory Red SS/SC with tinted windows pics would be nice.

Tinted windows always looks better, 5% is very dark, I think 20% all the way around would look good. 5% is too dark for the cops

I agree with the guy above me, thats what I have, and I must Say GREATEST appearance mod on the car. makes everything else that much nicer

i live in jersey and would have every window tinted 5% if I could. You're basically giving the cops one more reason to pull you over. If I didn't work second shift causing me to drive home through heavily patroled areas at peak hoodrat hours i would definitely tint all my windows.

 

Well i'm not too worried about the cops. I has 20% in the back and 35% on the fronts on my Camaro and never had a cop say a thing, even being stopped over 15 times (they profiled me for my paint job ). So i guess i'd consider wrapping 20% all around, but still not sure if i should do it at all :P Pics?

I went 20% all around and it can get real dark at night. Personally, I definitely wouldn't go any lower than 20%. But it looks great and I can still see enough to function without feeling dangerous.

Like i said I was nervous about it getting dark at night, and ya it is with limo on the back, but man the car looks sooo sexy, plus with a spoiler on the back of our cars you cant see much anyways.

 

i have 20% as well
sometimes depending on how much light is on a street it can be too dark at night when parking
so i always have to roll the windows down i hate curb rash

your GHEY just get the tint done already. It was like the first thing i did to my car, now my 2.2 is faster then a SS, and I tell you that I still dont regret it!

Pics of said paint job? I'm curious now. and I agree that 20% is perfect. It's not too dark that you get in trouble for it and you can still see out of it with no problems, but it looks good
