Show Off Your Projectors!

I bought a pair of old projectors with 6000K HID kit pre-assembled today on Ebay from seller GenkiTuning. I am just curious what other people's headlight/projectors look like.

I thought this was a good topic...

I am a fan of the retrofits and the new CCFL ones. They look great!
Keep them coming!

Has anyone purchased the old projector with HIDs preassembled like I purchased?

ANOTHER CCFL! I was so tempted to get these but I really wanted an HID kit.
My friend has an 05 STI, which he recently re-built his turbo setup to an FP Green Turbo

He dynoed at 400HP to the wheels at 13 PSI. (Long story about the boost)
He blew pistons in his stock turbo so he built up a lot of oil in his exhaust. The boost was lowered for the FP Green to burn out the oil.

He's going for 24 PSI I believe in a few weeks.

Anyways, my point is, I've always been jealous of the HIDs that came stock in his headlights so that's why I went in that direction.

my projectors came with the G5 wiring, not the cobalt wiring...so its a little harder to install them. They werent plug and play for me so we had to jerry-rig it...it wasnt that hard though.

From the pictures in your gallery, I bought the same headlights, but, mine comes with 6000k HIDs. Hopefully it is the cobalt wiring. Is there anyway you can tell?

After seeing your pics, I agree, they are my favorite to date...

If you don't mind me asking, what did they run you?

we tried plugging it in and it wouldnt fit. so we had to cut the wires and connect them manually. I guess the G5 just has a different harness then the cobalt. im not sure completely but it works and thats all that matters. Hopefully i'll get it on the switch soon.
