Silverstar Headlights

Anyone running these yet?

Is there any truth to the rumors that they don't last very long?

I have them. The only real difference is a slight bit whiter, but everything looks more "crisp". Crisp isn't only for chicken anymore. Everything just sticks out a bit better. I had nokyas in my Cadillac and hated them. The GE Nighthawks were kinda like the Silverstars... But just half the price. I also had some eurolite ones in my Honda and LOVED them.

I'm gonna agree with him. I've had the silverstars in for over a year now in my RL, so not sure bout those that didn't last long.

Eurolites. I liked the white with the very slight blue tint. You can't really see the blue in this picture though.

The car, for reference.

I bought my 9007 silverstars for my 97 ford escort a year and a half ago when i traded in that car for the cobalt i kept the bulbs and they are still running strong, my friends have the night hawks cause they are half the price and they are good too, but i do perfer the truer color spectrum you get from the silverstars

All I know is the Nighthawks were better than the Nokyas I had in the Cadillac before that. The Nokyas were flat-out blue. They were supposed to be white.

silverstars are ok, but they dont last long
PIAA are the best bulb in my opinion, and ive tried them all
usually $60 for a set, and they have a lifetime warranty, just buy from a retail source, not some weird guy on ebay
