smoked my taillights

Ok so i bought some transparent paint from walmart and smoked my tailights this morning. I'm not sure if you can call it smoked because they are straight up black, but the lights are still pretty bright when reverse or brakes lights are on, but imo it looks awesome. My camera battery is dead so ill have pictures up in about 20 or 30 mins.

tailights have nothing to do w/ performance for the 2.4 so moving it to appearance.

do the reflectors still light up at night? Like if the car is parked on the road and a car is coming up from behind?

I just did mine with nite shades last weekend. Damn now im mad that i spent the $25 on it instead of $3 at walmart. I guess if i ever need more paint to touch them up or make mine darker or for whatever reason I'll check this stuff out

U cant use that type of product on the headlights. Its not transparent enough to let the large amount of light thru that is needed for driving at night.
