On the spark plug cover aka the piece that screws into the valve cover, I was wondering how hot do you think that plate gets? I've re painted my cai and i wanted the cover to match as well. The current process has been to put engine enamel w ceramic as the base coat and throw 3 coats of metallic gray paint then 3 coats of clear and i was wondering if it would be too hot to throw that metallic gray on it. It says on the can not to use with 200 above temps but i wonder if the engine enamel would help the paint last a little longer.
