speedo and new wheels

Does anyone know how I would go about getting my computer changed to recognize a different size of wheel. Ill be going from the 15's which is 195/60/15 to 215/45/17

take it to gm and have them look into it. personally i dont think it will be too off. maybe 1-2 miles per hour. if you get everything sized correctly.

Use this to figure out the difference:
Tire Size Calculator

The 17's will be slightly larger than stock. Your speedo will be off by 1.6%... no big deal IMO.

If you're really picky about the precise measurements, then take it to a shop (with proper equipment) or the dealer to have your speedometer calibrated.
