Spoiler

I'm looking to get the SS spoiler for my LS to give it a little bit of shape instead of just being plain. The dealer wants $350 for it and I'm sure I can get it cheaper somewhere else but I don't know what's legit and what isn't. If anyone can give any suggestions any help would be appreciated. Car is black by the way so pre-painted would be great...

Because of the lack of goodies up front in the 2.2 cars, the SS spoiler is too much weight on the back of the LS and you will have major traction issues, especially in poor weather.

Where in Texas are you? I would trade you my black low-rise if your trunk is wingless.

other than it looking horrific, the SS spoiler wont add enough weight for you to notice anything home fry.

Make sure all the gum is removed on the bench you use...the rindlerobins cant handle the strain of some of the Bubblicious brands.

you know its funny how a lot of em bitch bout the high rise bein put on the ls/lt's cuz it was somethin that was for the ss yet they are willin to trade trunks with the ls/lt's to get wingless or sell the high rise to someone knowin that its goin on a base model balt. i just dont get it. i've said it before and imma say it again.. its better that we use a factory wing rather than to use some huge alumimnium or fiberglass ricer wing.

yellow, i see where you're coming from. yes it is weird that 90% of ss owners think they look rediculous on base model cobalts w/o a lip kit or something. and yes 90% of ss owners want to get rid of theirs. HOWEVER..... we do it cause it benefits us by going wingless....and we couldn't care less what happens to our spoiler

lol yea i was just sayin how it seemed funny for that to always happen. i think a base model needs to do one of two things before addin the high rise. 1. lower the car. 2. get a body kit or lip kit. i have the high rise on my car but its lowered as well.

It looks way too plain without any spoiler at all. I'm north of Fort Worth and I would totally trade with you if you had the high wing. And wow to everyone who said that it would weigh too much. It's fiberglass. The trunk struts I can understand but it doesn't lift up by itself anyway so why would it matter?? The whole Corvette is fiberglass because it weighs nothing at all. And my traction is horrible in bad weather anyway. If i start off even a little too fast around a corner i slide all over the place, even if i go straight from 1st to 3rd, so I'm not too concerned with that either.

the high rise looks bad on ALL cobalts IMO, OE or not.

but doubly bad on 2.2s
