spoiler question... not the same old one..

ok well i got a question on the coupe spoiler........ ls, or ss doesnt matter, the holes are the same.........

my car did not come with any spoiler.. so my lid has no holes.. so where the hell do the holes go?!? measurements would help lol

i just got an SS spoiler, but havent installed due to fear of placing it too far out, or in..

so can anyone measure the distance between the edge of the trunk... to the legs of the ss spoiler? rear window to spoiler? side of trunk to spoiler legs? i

thanks for any help before hand ppl

p.s. in inches please..... i suck at metric lol

well its yellow, but its not the stock yellow though......... thats the problem, the car has been repainted, and its not in perfect condition, since i took off the cobalt emblems and chipped some of the paint...

so trading wont really work..............

come on guys can anyone just please go outside and measure with a ruler/tape measure? it only takes 2 min.... thanks

btw, i dont think the spoiler goes in the center... since i tried placing it right in the middle of the trunk... and it doesnt look right... the ones ive seen have it a little more towards the rear of the trunk... thats why i cant just center it...

bump........ anyone?

i have the low rise spioler, and the base sits about an inch and a half in from the back of the trunk... the edge of the spoiler sticks slighty over the edge... hope that helps.l

the low rise and ss spoilers sit at different distances from the rear. mounting holes would be in same place, but the final location of the edge of the spoiler is not.

i'm checking to see if i still have the template from my sc to non-sc spoiler swap.

damn, sorry, template not at the apt.

on another note, did you get the replacement trunk struts for the spoiler? the kits come with replacements for cars that didn't originally come with a spoiler.

well i got the spoiler used from a member on here..... so no struts..

yes i have the high rise.... but i also have a body kit/rims though., well thats what im installing at the present time.... thanks for trying to help though....

hmm well if the edge of the lw rise spoiler is about an inch and a half from the edge of the trunk... i think it will be safe for me to just go ahead and install it a whole inch from the edge of the trunk... since the ss base is bigger than the ls.....

besides.. whos gonna notice if its off by a few mm? lol

thanks for helping though!
