Spoilers

I currently have the smaller of the two spoilers for the cobalt and I was wondering if the SS high profile spoiler fit in the same place as the smaller spoiler? I was wondering because I have an cobalt LT and wanted to know if I could take the small one off and putt the SS spoiler in the same spot.

anyone?

another reason if you race someone there are gonna think they are whooping up on the cobalt ss s/c one bc people think if you have the spoiler you are supercharged

C'mon guys. Is his car owned by all of you? I dont think so. If the man wants the spoiler on his car let him. He doesnt have to make his car look like you guys want it to, he needs to do it the way he wants it to look.

I believe that the spoiler holes are the same. Im not 100% on this one so dont take it to the bank but hopefully someone who isnt an ass will post if they know for sure.

dont make us look weak goddamnit! llool

Silver You Have A Ss/sc? If So Then Youd Understgand It Easy For A N/a Version Of Our Cars To Throw On A Spoiler And Get Beat By Most Cars, You Want That On Your Concious? Lol.!!!! True He Could Put A Porsche Turbo Tag On His Car Its His To Do What He Wants. But Seriously If You Want The Ss/sc Spoiler He Shoulda Bought A Ss/sc! Not Tryin To Be A Dick Just My Opinion

I say do it... If you get beat by some faster car, then they'll be more confused when a real (no offense meant) SS/SC takes them.... or at least gives them a battle!

Then they will FEAR all Cobalts

if you do it, you can't race, you have to act like your car is too fast for them. Hah, I'm just joking, seriously do what you want to the car. Personally I don't care if people think my car is slow, one of my friends got a 2.4 ss as a rental and swore that it had a supercharger, unfortunately I was getting to work at the time and couldn't show him myself. Let the bastards think we're slow All the better when we win.

(not saying the 2.4 ss is slow, but I know he went around racing people in it swearing it was supercharged)

ok I just thought it would make my car look better, but I understand about how people will think I have the SS and will think that they are slow, but I just wanted to know if the holes lined up or were in different spots. I just wanted to give my car that edge when people look at it.

Besides the smaller spoiler is not bad to begin with.

Yeah, I don't think the wing looks good at all on non SS/SC Cobalts. The base models are so high of the ground in the rear, that a huge wing just looks silly. The reason it looks halfway decent on the supercharged ones is because of the ground effects. If you want your car to look different, look into some ground effects or nice wheels or something. It go a lot further than a wing.

Guys look its not about how fast you are. Its about how you want your car to look. The guy asked a question about something that HE wants not yall. If he wants one on his car let him put one on, no big deal. thats why we have the forum for people to ask questions and get answers not for people to tell other people how THEY should mod their own car.

People have different tastes and just because yall dont agree with them doesnt mean that they cant do what they want to thier cars.

Yea because I want to get an intake, exhaust, headers, wheels, and springs, but I think that will be a lot of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Does anyone know those prices?

Intakes are normally between 200 - 290 depending on what brands your looking at.
Exhausts depend, the GMPP one is 400 close to 500 I believe?
I know http://www.cobalt-addiction.com has springs on there about 200 - 300
Wheels are more expensive, they are all over the net though.
So yeah, the stuff you want to do will cost a lot of $$$ lol

This post doesn't even make sense. You say the purpose of a forum is for people to ask questions and get answers. For most questions, there are two answers, yes and no--or a positive and a negative. So basically you wan't everyone to lie and say that it's a good idea and that it will look ok? Doesn't make sense to me.

He posted the idea to get feedback, and that's what he got. If he still wants to do it after reading all the negative posts, more power to him. But at least he'll know that there will be people that don't like it. I don't understand all these people who tell everyone that they can do whatever they want to their car and not to tell people what to do. THEN WHY POST IT ON AN INTERNET FORUM???? If you didn't care what other people thought, you'd just do it and not guage whether or not 10,000 random people liked it or not.
