i would assume it would bolt up, but you will have slits in your bumper from the ss/boosted lip

wow i didnt think anyone with an ss/sc or ss/tc would ever wanna do this. but if i had one i would do the SAME thing. the ss/na has the cleanest looking bumper. and it shows off the tires more. the boosted models just have ricey looking rear bumpers to me..

Yes it will fit. The bumper is the same. From gmpartsdirect

14 is the SC/TC lip. And 15 is the 2.4 lip. They mount to the same bumper. Granted I'm only looking at this picture, but according to this, it should fit. lol

I've considered this a few times, as well. Would look a lot better on my car, especially since I run a side-exit and don't have anything poking out that hole.

You have to trade with a 2.4 owner. You can take off the lip and put on the 2.4 rear piece, it'll clip right on, but then you'll have the slits from the rear lip on the sides of your fascia. Ya dig?

Also, there's a gap in the 2.4 rear piece for the exhaust, so it won't solve that problem either. If you've got side exhaust, you're better off trying to do custom work on the stock rear lip to make it look like the passenger side, then make custom grilles.

I understand this... but the whole/gap isn't NEARLY as large/defined as the F/I SS models. Know what I mean?

Well yeah but IMO if you're going through the trouble of swapping/changing to a 2.4 rear you might as well go all the way and get an RK rear lip which has no gap at all.

???

RK Sport has cut outs for Duals. Plus, I'd have to paint it then... mo money, mo problems.

Unless, of course, you are talking about the G5 rear lip from RK. That's decent... I'm debatable on it. Some times I like it, sometimes I don't. I definitely like the style they're going for. I like Evo IX's with the JDM rear end.

The stock G5 GT rear lip is best, imo. Maybe I'll see if I can get one of those.

I really like their photos of it on their site... but I've seen other photos of it on someone's car... and I did NOT like it.

Iono. Again, gotta mess with paint and stuff, and I'd rather not do that. Maybe one day though.
