Any ideas to get the spray tint off my taillights with out hazing?

 

Most people recommended paint thinner.

 

Just curious...why do you want it off?

 

well I get pulled over alot and just today i was paying one of my tint tickets, and as i was backing out of my spot there was a cop and he turned on his lights and siren to get my attention so u pulled in a spot down from the one i pulled in and he was like you know this car is very illeagel. I said yes sir i know this thats whay i am up here paying off tickets

 

So what did he say? Did he give you a ticket?

 

no he was like well get that off ASAP some one could rear end you and if the police gets called to the accident its your fault because how could some one see your stopped with those blacked out lights. no ticket just like a person to a person warning.

it sucks a ove my black tail lights. I ordered LED ones like a long ass time ago and never got them. some one tolod me about them they where like 13.00 bucks so i went for it. if i ever get them ill paint them up real nice.

 

paint thinner probably wouldn't be a good idea on plastic taillights. how thick is it on? and is it clear coated? if not, you can probably just scrape it off. or swap someone for non-tinted tails.

about 5 coats and 2 coats clear. I mean with no light behing them they look black but when my lights are on you can clearly see red.

 

I did the same thing but I didnt tint my third brake light.

 

I would swap some one but if they dont live in pittsburgh that means I have to wait for them to get here and I cant drive with out tail lights ( just asking to get pulled over). Plus I would hate to trade some one for some tail lights what if i get there tail lights and what if they get mine and are not so appy with them. I would feel terrible.

niether did I i totally forgot it was there after i was all done I was like **** i forgot I had a third brake light.

 

You guys must have dicks for cops cause I have had mine tinted since last summer and even been pulled over but they never said anything about my tails. And If you look in my gallery, you can see that they are pretty dark.

 

well mine are tinted DARKKK and clear coated several times. you don't wanna trade with me lol. put something up under classifieds. alot of people want the tinted look lately.

 

its a good look for sure i love it I have everything blacked out painted headlights, windows and my tail lights with the exception of the reverse lights i think it looks awesome. but i cant stand all the attention from law enforcement. lol
