By clone you mean..engine/drivetrain, breaks, suspension, wheels, full interior, exterior, etc? .....
I would say you wouldn't get flammed anymore than a V6 Mustang doing a Cobra clone........

full exterior yes because rims i'll go after market, interior yes, engine no, i'm going fully bolted and tuned and within the next year turbo

suspension i went Tenzo which is lower then stock SS/SC

i guess it will turn into a clone but i'm just doing it cuz it's easy to upgrade and looks a hell of alot better then stock LS

did i mention its fun and i enjoy modding? atleast i'm not going rice, in my opinion, i'm keeping it OEM

That wasn't towards you but anyways full exterior? So swaping out the rear drums, pulling the ugly molding and going 5 lug?

negative, i wouldnt change the lugs, it's not worth the money, i like the molding for protection, rear drums are fine with me cuz i'm not racing the car

but when i'm done it will be a nic elooking, fast LS

by friday it will be a nice looking LS but wont be fast by any means lol that's going to take some saving $$$

so i guess i'll be rice until i start spooling on people

Ha..well most numbers from turbo Cobalt 2.2's I've seen (no internal and whatnot) make less power than my car and mines still slow.

Kinda funny how 2 little letters and some extra power makes SS owners think their cars are God's gift to other Cobalts and not to be imitated in any way. It's still a damn Cobalt. Get off your freaking high horse already.

apparently yeah. The ss/tc sedan only has the front lip so i guess that means it can't be done. Guess i'll just get a front lip and it'll look just like a ss/tc (when i get the gauge pillar) without the rims, shifter, tranny or seats. Oh and turbo of course lol.

Spoken like a true LS'er..... You gimps are the ones with the 'no power' complex... get over it. Im not on a high horse, I drive a 4cyl chevy... its just faster than yours...

Don't stereotype, were not all bad. You can build up a 2.2 to be faster than a 2.0 anyhow, its just that off the lot one is faster than the other. Thats how I look at it anyways. Besides, you wouldnt know the SC is the faster car around here, I take lots of 2.2 flybys and crap trying to call me out

I don't give two ***** about how fast my car is... or yours. And this whole discussion was originally about you SS'ers whining about us lower models trying to make our cars look more like yours.

Not fully installed... i got my parts back today, so I went ahead and installed the front bumper/lip and it's a direct bolt up, the side skirts we also very easy to install, now I have to wait until tomorrow or thursday to get working on the rear...

my mirror covers are at his house, i'm going back there after everything's installed to fix any imperfections because it was too flimsey uninstalled.

tell me what you think!
I'll post better pics when i'm finished, but these will do for now.
