SS bumper

so i have a 07 ls..if i bought a bumper cover off an SS..is there anything else i would need for it besides like the grill..?

anyone?

Read ALL of this post before asking more questions...It's just that this gets asked A LOT. When searching for info on this use "fascia" not bumper.

Nope, allyou need is the bumper(fascia) and grilles and like cc08 said the screws or plastic rivets.

Yea, that's right. You won't need the 2 brackets that go on the bottom and allow you to secure the bottom of the fascia. It's better to let it flop around. Probably allows the fascia to distort when driving and give you better aerodynamics...the engineers who designed the brackets certainly didn't know what they were doing...

Your grille will fit the SS fascia so you won't need a new grille either...

...and, of course, you wont be able to use the air dam from the bottom of your LT fascia on the SS fascia either. The SS uses an air dam under the radiator so you should consider getting one from an SS/NA/Sport...the air dam on the SS/SC/TC won't work as they have side radiator brackets the NAs don't have...but then again...what do the engineers know...just dead weight I guess...

your SS bumper going hang lower then the rest of your LS unless you get the side skirts and ss bumper.
