Alright thanks! i need something to hold the lip in place but i don't want to buy the clips for $5 a piece can i use anything else to substitute for the clips that can be bought from GM? Just wondering if anyone has done this before.

 

I'm sure you can. Just make something. Hardware stores will probably have something also.

I made custom clips.
Try zip ties.

 

Luckily my lip came with the clips

 

Ill probably find a replacement, zip ties sounds like a good idea then Ill wedge something in between the ziptie and the bumper.

I'll see if I can find some of mine.

My dad works at a Chrysler plant and he took some metal clips for something off a Dakota(?) and we just fashioned them into something usable to keep my lip on my bumper.

 

i searched old thread, but the pics have disappeared

 

Just get a piece of metal and bend it to the shape of an L and that should work
