SS leather steering wheel swap

Looking to put a ss leather steering wheel in my 2.2
i have just the 2 button controls on my current steering wheel. all im looking to do is just swap the to the SS leather.
will my controls from the plastic wheel plug into the harness on the leather one and work ? i looked at the connectors and they appear to be the same.

just wanted to make sure that my info and reset button will work no problem before i go and take the wheel and airbag out.

It should be direct plug and play. Swap the harnesses in the wheels and the switch bezel/ blank bezel. You may be pre-wired for radio controls and possibly even cruise control. If so, just simply plugging in the new wheel would allow radio controls to work. Cruise control would need to be toggled on with a tech 2(if your car is pre-wired for it). But yeah, if you just want the leather wheel with your info and enter buttons, swap the harnesses and switch bezels over from your old wheel to the new and plug it in. All cobalt steering wheels use the same clock spring connector and the connectors are wired the same way. It's the steering wheel harness that differ with different switch connectors. Some options just aren't pre-wired so there'd simply be an empty spot on the connector for whatever options aren't there. Even in the 05-06 model year where the DIC is on the dash, for those two years, that wire in the clock spring connector is empty but it's wired in the 07-10's
