Where does everyone buy those carbon fiber or black overlays that you can put on the SS emblems

there are ones on there that are already carbon fiber....I.E. in the picture!

Also make sure to tell the the size of you're ss emblem. The cobalt ss emblem is 3 3/4 inches. Sometimes they'll give you tb ss emblem overlays. Which r way bigger

ok i didnt realize the other ones were for 4" and didnt fit the cobalt ss emblem even though it says they did this link fits the balt ss emblem

more expensive but you know it will fit

I got mine from flamingdecals (ebay), great seller, I forgot to say I wanted red and got sent black, they shipped me my red ones for free, great service and they fit perfect.

 

ebay...really easy and theyre surprisingly durable.

 

Yeah I hope I don't mess up installing them when I get them. Sucks 14 days for 3 little stickers

 

i suggest using tweezers

 

yea make sure you clean them very good, i used cue tips and rubbing alcohol, cleaned them nice, and make sure you do it when its not gunna rain for a day or two cuz the rain can make them fall off, then your gunna have to wait another 14 days haha, did you order one for your steering wheel chevy emblem?!?

 

no just for the 3 exterior ss emblems

 

u dont need tweezers. you apply them like when doing roll call down the doors. you take the backing off and stick em over the badge. push the sticker in really good over the badge and then peel the second backing off. thats it

the SS stickers are positioned perfectly to the badge. impossible to **** it up

i know when i purchased a set 2 years ago they didnt come like that. back then yes i had to use tweezers. kept messing up and having to lift and reposition

i havent bought a set of those SS overlays in about a year and a half, back then i had to use tweezers.

 

damnit.. I just ordered any payed for the 4 inch overlays. I don't feel like dealing with this through E-Bay. Lets make sure info we post in correct. Partially my fault, they were only 10 $ so I just clicked and bought. I didn't see the following posts that said our SSs are really 3.75 inches, not 4.

Sigh, Ebay ftl.

 

I'll probably mess up one but I'll have to see what they look like when they get here
