you have the little display in your dash correct? if so does it fail safe to on when you unplug the sensor? This would be my 1st guess. Second would be to dig the pressure switch out of your LS seat and rig it "pressurized" and just leave it under the seat... 3rd is to figure out what 2 wires need to be touching to "activate" the switch and permenatly splice em together... I suggest you try these ideas in this order

scratch everything i just said... if you unhook the connection it will not failsafe on, you will get a service airbag message in the DIC... I think the only option is the dig out the switch & rig it... b/c if you go touching wires together you could blow the airbag or mess up something else.
dude im sorry but what in the world are you doing buying some ss recaro seats with a ls cobalt haha im sorry but thats ridiculous...........
Now all you need to do is take that first S and switch it to a L and ull be set LS....

Are you more worried aboutt he airbag working or getting the seats in without having an error? If its the later, there are companies that sell resistor packs and will clip on to the stock harness. The other option is to measure the resistance in your LS seats and make up your own resistor pack to mimick it.

he better keep those on the down low.
