you have the little display in your dash correct? if so does it fail safe to on when you unplug the sensor? This would be my 1st guess. Second would be to dig the pressure switch out of your LS seat and rig it "pressurized" and just leave it under the seat... 3rd is to figure out what 2 wires need to be touching to "activate" the switch and permenatly splice em together... I suggest you try these ideas in this order

scratch everything i just said... if you unhook the connection it will not failsafe on, you will get a service airbag message in the DIC... I think the only option is the dig out the switch & rig it... b/c if you go touching wires together you could blow the airbag or mess up something else.

you can remove the old airbag sensor from your old seats and put it in the new ones. thats what i did when i replaced my seats it was pretty easy. unbolt the bottom seat cushions remove the cushion itself by removing the tabs from the metal frame (the cushion should be attached to the cover) then under the cushion in your old seat is something that looks kinda like one of those **** bags that people get hooked up to at the hospital after surgery... remove that and just put it in the same spot on the new seat. easy as that.

Awesome, i always assumed if you unpluged it you would failsafe to on, but i finally got sick of assuming & went out & actually did it, well i got a service airbag & CEL... So the only way to "rig it" is to swap it to the new seats. Great to get a response from someone that did it

no more rediculous than putting racing seats in a honda. the man has a nice set of seats. leave him be.

Are you more worried aboutt he airbag working or getting the seats in without having an error? If its the later, there are companies that sell resistor packs and will clip on to the stock harness. The other option is to measure the resistance in your LS seats and make up your own resistor pack to mimick it.
