Curious about this as well. I really want some white faced gauges, and would rather watch the wreckers for a swap than mess with my own trying to install an overlay...

The SS/SC doesn't have white faced gauges. I thought the 2.4l had white faced ones stock???? You can also try Black Cat Custom gauges. You can get whatever color gauge face/number combination you want.

Incorrect, the MPH is NOT the same and NOT in the same locations. For point of reference, look at the very top point of the gauge, in the 2.4 the top point is at 70mph. In the SS/SC it is at 80mph. If those gauges even work, your speedometer is going to be off significantly.

For the time and trouble, I would strongly recommend going with an aftermarket TWM shifter. The SS and the SS/SC have different transmissions and you would have to find a way to work around the reverse lockout lever on the SS/SC. TWM's shifters are shorter than the stock SS/SC shifter would be and you actually have options for what knobs to put on the TWM whereas you don't for the SS/SC shifter (because it's not threaded).

That swap should be possible. I haven't looked too closely at the G5 GT cluster, but the positioning should be the same as a 2.4 SS. So that would be a more plausible possibility.

This place has gauges for the 2.4. You can get them in almost any color. I bought white, should get it in about a week.
