SS/SC Bumper

On my passenger side of the car on my SS/SC the bumper around the bottom of my headlight is coming out. Its popping out around the bottom of the headlight. Does anyone else bumper do this? I may even have the headlight in wrong and not all the way. Ill try to provide a pic.

Im not sure what happen? It seemed like as soon as it got really hot and humid this summer it popped out. My drivers side is perfect fit but the passensger sticks out with this ugly gap under the light, but the side and everything fits fine. I noticed if i pull up on the bumper a but it fixes the gap so I made do a little modification.

Might be able to stick a 1/8 or 1/4 piece of ply or plastic between the support and the styrofoam behind the bumper to lift it up.

There is a bulletin on this problem. There's a thread about this in the Problems & Service area and I've posted the bulletin. The fix is to remove the front fascia and lower the mounting bracket 4-7 mm.

really should we get GM involved and tell them they need to tell there dealerships how to fix it. I talked to a bodyshop guy at the chevy dealership and gave him the print out of the post on how to fix it, he told me that he didnt see how that would fix it since it really looks like the bumper is to big for the car. He said that the problem gos back to GM and there manufaturing of the bumper.

Boooo. I did do a search and found nothing, but that may have been due to the fact I didnt know what to exactly search for or what you guys were labeling it.
