SS/SC bumper cover on a G5

I am wondering if this will fit. I plan to get the bumper cover and use my Pontiac center insert piece where the emblem is...I know the bumper itself will fit, but will the spot where the emblem is attach to the bumper cover? Hope the question makes sense, I've gone cross eyed...

Is this going to be a bodykit, or just the SS stock bumper? If stock, why not just get the G5 GT front bumper? Its a perfect fit, so you won't have to worry about cutting up the SS bumper to make it fit.

no my knowledge it will work, doing this is no different than a SS/SC bumper with the chrome grill insert.. you'd have to cut out the center bar and install the pontiac grill insert.

somebody correct me if im wrong.

Yea, thats true, but not worth it, unless you're getting it cheap from an individual. If he's going to be paying a good bit of money, it would make more sense to just go purchase the G5 GT front bumper. Its the same thing, just a better fit.

Scrap yard has a ss/sc bumper/lip available. Cheaper then buying g5gt new.

$100 CDN. some minor damage to it and it needs to be painted silver. Gonna cost a couple hundred bucks to get it all fixed/painted but it'll still be cheaper then new from GM. I figure I'll save the equivilant of the price of painting a new one from GM...

Thanks...it's hopefully getting painted this week. Look for pics on g5club.net in the coming weeks.
