SS/SC Lower than the ss n/a ??

SS/SC Lower than the ss n/a ??

just wondering cuz someone that lives nearby has a blue ss/sc and ive seen him drivin around a few times and his car seems lower.. i know it has the front lip.. which i just got for mine.. but even then it seems lower.. do they come lower?? or do you think he put some new springs on?

They do, not a whole lot...but some...plus they come stock with larger wheels, so the wheel gap is less noticable.

i beleive the ss/sc is lower by maybe about .5 or so..also the spring rate is diffrent compared to the ss springs

yeah.. ive got the ss/sc wheels on my car now.. so that helps.. im workin on gettin this front lip i just got(ss/sc lip) ready to be painted cuz some of the paint was chipped.

then ill be puttin that on


hmm i guess .5" isnt that bad.. ill prolly end up lowering the car in the future

Jackalope posted that the SS/SC and SS/na springs are exactly the same. So, that means that either the larger wheel size just makes it look lower to you because of the difference in wheel gap, or it has lowering springs.

no they are not the same height, i went to cobalt meet yesturday and sat next to about 6 sc.. 2 were even more lowered the other 4 were still lower than my ss/na

lol maybe but all of them were 06 accept one that was already lowered an 05 (doesnt count) and an 07. so either way they arent the same height, you can look online. it says certain springs ss non charge get like 2.3 inches but 1.8 on the sc cobalts

The part numbers on the springs for the 2.0 and 2.4 are the same. nuff said. It's a combination of wheel size and front lip that is deceptive.
