SS/SC rear bumper on a Sedan?!?!?!?!?

We just cam from the local chevy dealer and seen a used SS cobalt Sedan with a SS/SC coupe rear bumper, lip and spoiler, I was like WTF!?!?!?! i checked it out and all the lights work fine, it also had a SS/SC front bumper and stock side SS/2.4 skirts, i have to say it looked ******* sweet, it was silver and i dont know how hard it is to convert the rear but im sure thinking about it. I should go steal the GMPP intake and cat back on it. LOL i will post pics in a day or two, i have no camera right now. Anyone else seen anything like this?, it also SS/SC leather and gun metal 18's, i might just trade the ole stock SS sedan for it, probley one of the sweetest balts ive ever seen,

its a :
2006 Cobalt Sedan SS silver- MODDED with ALL GMPP PARTS!

The front is easy.

The rear isn't.

The rear deck lid is completely different between the sedans and coupes. And the facia are matched. He would have had to completely replace the facia and deck lid to a coupe style.

I don't know if the deck lids are simply interchangeable or not. I dont think they are, but that would be neat to learn if they did.

i might go by tomorrow to the LOCAL chevy dealer and take a close look at the deck lids to see if they are interchagable.

its not so much an issue of the deck lids, the real problem is with the rear quarters. the coupe has a flared edge and the sedan is flat. i looked at swaping a coupe bumper on my 4 door but there is no way it would work without a good amount of body work. please get some pics!

the deck lids are not, there is a big drain gap on the sedans, that is not on the coupes....

i measured my truck lid and a coupe's today and its close but wouldnt work without MINOR bodywork, the rear bumper also has to be altered from what i can tell.

Hmmmm, I don't know about this. It sounds like someone tried to make the Cobalt show car sedan like GM had at SEMA years ago.

Hopefully the person who bought it did a title search...yeesh...that would suck.
