SS Spoiler removal
SS Spoiler removal
Ok, i undersdand that this was a past topic but i couldn't find my answer. I was wondering on removal of the spoiler did anyone find something to plug the holes? I was quoted last week at an autobody place, to have the wing removed and the holes welded and paint it would have cost me $400+. SO instead of getting them to do it im looking to take the wing off and plug the holes myself.
I find the spoiler to much heat where i live. Everytime...EVERYTIME im at a stop light I have a race. Ford Tauras /1990 civic to 350 trans ams!. I bought the car to be a a quick daily driver but not to put my race helmet on everytime i go down to the store to get some milk. Besides that I hate the spoiler. i think its too much for the car and it blocks vis out the back window.

i was in the same position as you 2 weeks ago. there was no way i was gonna go spend 300$ on my trunk getting it filled and painted. only thing i can think of besides trading trunks like i did, get some vinyl cut outs and put them over it for now or get some like rubber lining, liek they use for pool screens and fill them with that? idk man, just look around for a trunk
