When buying the SS/TC grill to put on a SS/SC do you need both the front portion and the honeycomb portion or will the SS/SC front portion work with the SS/TC honeycomb portion?

basically, do I need just 1 or do I need to buy 1 and 6 from the SS/TC?

So I take it then the front portion of the grill, part 6 in the diagram, is the same on all SS 2005 to 2010?

you ONLY need the grille, the 'x' pattern big thing. nothing else

That's the WRONG grille image. What you're looking at is an LTZ crap grille:



That grille actually requires the middle part delete on the normal bumper. SS/tc grille will fit SS/sc no problem without any modifications
