started working on painting the wing

so i started working on painting the center blade silver...well...i got as far as taking it off and primering it...wont be done today, so looks like i drive around bladeless...i actually dont know when i will be done, it has 3 layers of primer on it, next ima sand it down some more, than paint it, give about 4 coats of ultra silver...than wet sand, than 3 coats of clear, than some more sanding, some rubbing compound, than some wax

when im done the end caps and the blade will be silver, my outside color themre will be silver body, black RKsport lip, and black wing towers, with silver end cap and blade

If you do rattle can right, you can make it look just as good as factory! And it seems he did!

Good work!

you need to re-sand down that area completely and re-do it. make sure ur sanding between coats and letting the paint properly cure before attempting to sand and later buff and wax. try using steel wool instead of sand paper its less abrasive at times.

i tried stee whool, it tore that **** up, so now i went with the lighter grade paper, and im not looking for perfection, if i was i would of paid the dealer 120 to paint it, which i still might if at the endi dont like my work...at this point im not going back unless its to hand it to a paint shop...
