i have more work to do but i figured i'd throw some pics up of the work along the way. ps this is all abs plastic.

not to bad so far.. are you gonna wrap it in cf? lol i know it would look good if you did..

o and im gettin ready to make a bezel gauge pod like you have in the back ground of your pics. think you can wrap one of those in cf too? if you do yours in cf make sure to post some pics of it cuz i may want you to wrap mine for me..

i think he needs to open his own custom shop and website doin this kinda stuff.. impulse your doing great man. keep it up. and i'll get with you probably friday or saturday bout gettin the cf interior trim done..

sounds good man. yeah im trying to get the process of building a mini workshop at my parents house. it will be like a shed but 2times the length and finished like the outside of their house. prolly during the summer i'll build it. yeah i might wrap the dual in cf ounce i get vacuum supplies.

well i think you could do pretty good if you had your own lil shop makin all this kinda stuff.. if its gonna be a lil while before you get the stuff to do my cf trim just let me know when you have what you need to do it. i can wait if i have to..

impulse where in new york are you located? i live in queens about halfway between long island and manhattan. if you do good custom work for hire i'm sure i can find some stuff to do.

lil update

well i decided to round out the back completely to a dome and then just add another piece under it. i then cut up some 3/4 oz matt into tiny pieces and added resin to make almost a paper mache. i liked how high voltage did his but i found a simplier way to plug up the gaps (where he used taped). i blew up a balloon inside the tube and duct taped it to push it in.











these are pics of the piece installed for a pic just after a quick sand









next i put some body filler on and did a quick sand. i still have to add more filler and do a bunch of sanding. more pics lol
