Steering wheel overlay

I understand that we can't do any custom emblems beyond a vinyl overlay........is the center piece on the 05-06 different in size from the 07+ steering wheels??

I actually have a plan for this that I never followed through on. I want to make a clear vinyl sticker in the same circular radius as the bow-tie emblem. Then people can make whatever picture they want and print it from home, stick it to the back of the clear vinyl, then stick that to their steering wheel. I just need to find a place that can make a batch of custom sized stickers like that.

half cent, is the purpose of the clear vinyl to make the emblem flush? like is it a negative of the bowtie so when applied, it will be flush to put your own sticker?

Over the past summer I drove down to the harrisburg car show and got two rock chips in my windshield so I got pissed and punched the center of my steering wheel. It dented the emblem and there is no way to fix other than rip it out. So I ripped it out lol, now I need to put a piece of vinal there to make it look nice again.

damn anger problems sometimes lol

hey psycho cam was it easy to remove that emblem? was it smooth underneath? I had a punisher overlay on mine right now (black with brushed aluminum skull) and you can see the 3-D of the bowtie stick through

the overlay has clips all around it. I took my time and used a very small flat head to take it out. Now I can see where the clips wrapped around the plastic of the steering wheel you can see the airbag slightly lol. I want to just put black vinal over it

It is a different size. The 07+ is smaller then the 05 and 06.

My sticker would not stick over the existing emblem. You would remove that first. You destroy it when you remove it, but it does come off.

Please make sure that this "24designs" is NOT Streetbadges or any other form of company run by Shawn Shreve. We had a big problem with him here once before on this topic.

half cent, why did you link this thread in your last post? I have ordered decals from them before. Custom punisher skull decals. Ordered 5 and got 6 incase i screwed up. The whole transaction went great.
