I have a 2007 cobalt ls base. It's as base as base can be. I want to swap the four spoke leather wrapped in, in place of the resin three spoked POS. The wheel I bought has NO controls on it, I already have the SS info-center panel that is on the dash just to the left of the wheel. My question is this, Can I physically bolt the leather wrapped 4 spoke to the '07 column? Will the 4 spoke airbag connectors work with the '07 harness? Then after that, can the info selector harness be rerouted to the SS info-center panel and plugged in to those switches?
I personally do not like the three spoke wheel, and like the 4 spoke better. By the way, I got the wheel off of ebay, and do not know what year it came from. I also have the airbag to work with the 4 spoke.
The other thing is, can the connector on the airbag harness be replaced with a different one?
