Stereo Buttons
Hey guys,
I have an 08 cobalt with a silver stereo. I am looking into getting a black faceplate, but the ones I am looking at have a slightly different button layout (menu, RDM etc..)
I was planning on going out to a junk yard to see if I could pop some out and back in on a used one rather than my own, but I have been too busy.
What Im asking is if the buttons (same sized ones of course) can just pop out and if they are exchangeable between faceplates.
anybody done anything like this with their faceplate, or maybe just accidentally popped one out or broke one??

I think I'll be removing mine tomorrow, I'm going to wrap it in CF vinyl. Radio is sitting on my desk, it's pouring rain so I can't get ANY tools out of the truck without drenching them.
