Stripes or 2-Tone The Showdown!

So what is your opinion for a Red SS/SC? Stripes or 2-Tone and what color stripes, what color 2-tone?

I'm going to do one or the other right after the ol' tax return. Muhaha.

Stripes!

2-Tone Black wing though.

if you can get the crazy colors from the 27th element 2-tone i'd do that. i can't see the stripes pick from work.

Yeah I would love that red. I fixed the pic BTW.

I'm thinking of going stock red with a black top and a 1/2 inch white stripe.

Close enough though. Thanks man. I changed the pic.

P.S. Can someone photochop that wing black and a white stripe down the side? That would be nice.

The wing needs to be black. IMO The owner of that car should paint there stock rims black. There's a great how-to on painting stock ss rims. Just my opinion though

Exactly. I never realy thought of black rims with a black/red 2-tone paint job.

That would look good.

What do you think, leave the lip gunmetal with the rest black or paint the entire rim black?
A gunmetal lip would look nice.

Like this.

LOL, no kits for me. I hear that.

I'm thinking 2-tone black/red with a 1/2 inch white stripe with black rims/gunmetal lip.

I've wondered what if you were to not paint the full surface of the spokes, and leave a edge to give the wheel an image of it having a lip. Hmmmm?

Yeah I have to say, that looks bad ass. I think I might have to do that with the 2-tone as well.

The lip makes all the difference.

That would look sweet too. I can't wait to do this. BTW it looks like people like the black/red 2-tone too.

2-tone Black/Red
1/2 inch white stripe
Black faced stock wheels/unpainted lip.

My old mechanic has a spray booth on his property. Lucky bastard. He's hooking it up.

I say go with the two tone...black and red. I'm guessing there's a pretty big price difference between stripes and two tone paint so go with whatever the pocket allows. Niether of them look bad
