here is a sugestion why dont you ex the black and do like gunmetal. maybe charcoal. the one thing i see in all of these pics is that none of them actually resemble true ss stripes. or even the same stripes they put on the s10 extreme. (in my personal opion are the best looking stripes.) if you look in my pics i do have some pics of when i had ghosted s 10 extreme stripes on my car. they were very sharp looking at the time. now i realize i have now removed them but that was to make way for something even bigger. lol and better. if you want to know the measurements of them. they were 10 inch on the fat, 1/4 on the thin and a 1/4 on the gap. there was also 2inchs between them all if i remember correctly. that was a perfect fit between the pilars of the rear spoiler. good luck on your decision!!!

exactly my suggestion. end them at the front of the hood and the bottom of the trunk, dont cover the bumpers. heres an example. also 8 Inch wide....

TIP!

dont pay 60$ and up for stripes, have a vinyl shop cut them for you.

it would be fine in charcoal but maybe do something real cool like shade shifter or reflective black, or even flat black. black on black is so diff. it makes it cool lol.

About 500$ ish.

I think,

it was awhile ago, and I had other things done at the same time.

Seriously though, if stripes is what you/ anyone else is SURE they want, dont do decals.

I bought my car with stripes, and they were decals. Faded, peeling off, looked really bad.
Not sure how long they were on the car though.

Decals :

Paint :

most likely 3 yrs material, you put 7yrs material on with a overlam they will look like new for long time. if you don't believe me then you should look at my car it is still mint.

You have to factor in weather too. How long it will last depends on that.
I'm not saying that all decals look bad.
I know what my decals did, and wouldnt want to tell anyone to spend money on them.

ya you do have a point about the heat thing if you live in the deep south states. however i am possitive when iseen those pics you posted that was 3yrs material. the problem with paint is you cant just change it when you get bored of it. so anyone who is thinking of doing decals make sure you cough up the extra dough and get it done right. 7yrs material, with 7yrs laminate. i will promise you it will last and look good for at least 5-7 yrs even in texas.

Agreed with the person who said don't pay over $60. Materials cost about that much from a vinyl shop and it's surprisingly easy to put them on.

Are those 8 inch wide stripes? Also how much of a gab do you have between each stripe? They are awesome!
